Licensing Executives Society Celebrates World IP Day

In honor of World Intellectual Property Day, IP, licensing, and business development professionals will gather the world over to discuss the importance of IP to the global economy.

The Licensing Executives Society (LES) Seattle Chapter has chosen to recognize the importance of intellectual property in Seattle's rich music history. From Jimi Hendrix to Pearl Jam, Seattle has had a major influence on musical culture and history. Intellectual property is a huge part of music, from trademark licensing of consumer products, copyright licensing of tracks and ringtones, and new patents and technologies for the distribution and enjoyment of our musical tastes.

Join LES members at Seattle's Hard Rock Café to network and celebrate the day. Activities will include prizes for best rock star look-alike and best concert t-shirt.
