Moderate Means Program - Summer Practicum

The Moderate Means Program has spots open for this summer. This experiential course provides practical training in the areas of family, housing, and consumer law; the chance to interview multiple clients about their legal issues; and the satisfaction of helping moderate income clients obtain legal representation at reduced cost.

Location: Sullivan Hall
Time Commitment: Six hours a week (minimum)

Please join attorneys from the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Washington Chapter for an informal breakfast roundtable discussion about "A Day in the Life of an In-House Attorney”. Kevin Fay, VMware, Inc.; Shannon Whitemore, Savers/Value Village; Melissa Havens of WCG Clinical, and Jackson Bennett of Parametric Portfolio will discuss the in-house career path: how to prepare for, obtain, and advance in a corporate counsel position, as well as their respective practices. This is an opportunity to meet in-house lawyers, ask questions, and learn how you can position yourself for a career in-house.

Registration in Symplicity by Wednesday, March 20, is required to attend. This event is limited to 25 students.
