Don't be afraid to try things, don't be afraid to take risks, and don't be afraid to post a Job Talk Tuesday on a Thursday (that last one is very specific, so no need to commit it to memory). Adapting is key to your development as a professional, and knowing who you are and how to combine your strengths can help you successfully identify and make necessary change.

Kasha Roseta, Equity and Civil Rights Program Supervisor at the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, discovered that combining her love for education and law was the winning formula for career satisfaction for her, but it took a willingness to try things, along with honesty and courage, to get there.
