Kristin Miles was a member of the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys Board of Directors from 2006 until her death in 2012. The Kristin Miles Memorial Student Scholarship honors Kristin’s commitment to ensuring that law students had every opportunity to participate in Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys (WSSHA) programs. She was ever vigilant in reminding the Board of its obligation to advance the education of future members by making our programs accessible to the law student community. While no one can replace Kristin’s passion, dedication, and always present good humor, WSSHA honors her by providing this support to law students each year so that they can attend the annual fall health law conference.
