Filipino Lawyers of Washington 2011 Pangarap Scholarship

The Filipino Lawyers of Washington (“FLOW”) awards two $500.00 scholarships to law students attending a law school in Washington State. The scholarships are intended to recognize law students who have a demonstrated significant commitment to community service, particularly service to the Filipino/Filipino American community. You need not be of Filipino ethnicity to apply.

JUDGING CRITERIA
All applicants will be judged on the following criteria:
  • Community service and community involvement, particularly service to the Filipino/Filipino American community;
  • Academic achievement, work experience, activities, and post-law school goals; and
  • Essay
There is no minimum G.P.A. requirement

SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
The scholarship recipient will be selected and notified by the FLOW Scholarship Committee.
The award will be presented at the FLOW Annual Barrio Fiesta (Dinner) on October 28, 2011.

October 17-20, 2011 Telephone Interviews
October 21, 2011 Notification
October 28, 2011 Scholarship Presentation at the FLOW Annual Barrio Fiesta
