George Van Cleve’s legal career has included private practice, public service, and the publication of a major historical work on slavery’s role in the creation of the American constitutional scheme. Please join him as he shares his reflections on, among other things:
his involvement in the Congressional investigation into the Iran-Contra scandal;
his participation in the litigation arising out of the Exxon Valdez oil spill;
and why he decided to leave a successful practice and pursue an advanced degree in history.
