Sections are areas of practice of law. Say you are interested in Bankruptcy law—well, if you join the Bankruptcy section you can attend their lunchtime section meetings in person or by webcast.

1 free KCBA Young Lawyers Division committee:
The Young Lawyers Division is for attorneys who are under the age of 35 or within five years of legal practice. The Young Lawyers Division offers networking events, volunteer opportunities, and free lunchtime CLEs!  The committees help plan these activities—so get involved!

Community Involvement Committee
Initiates programs serving the non-legal community. Projects include Habitat for Humanity, holiday volunteer events, and the KCBA Fun Run & Walk.

Social Events Committee
Plans social events such as monthly happy hours, where YLD members can network.

Young Lawyer Services Committee
Conducts programs of interest and value to young lawyers and law students.
