UC Hastings is offering several classes this summer as part of the College’s annual Summer Legal Institute (SLI). This year, summer J.D. classes will include Evidence, Legal Ethics, International Arbitration, and Criminal Procedure, among others.
Summer course offerings are divided into two general areas: credit-bearing courses and certificate programs. The credit-bearing courses are open to any JD student currently enrolled and in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school within the United States. There are two certificate programs: Court ADR Systems Design and a 40-Hour Mediation Training for non-U.S. attorneys. Court ADR Systems Design is open to international judges, attorneys, solicitors, barristers, and court administrators who are not U.S. citizens and who live and work outside of the United States. Incoming UC Hastings LL.M. students may also receive academic credit to be applied towards their LL.M degree by enrolling in the 40-Hour Mediation Training. California Bar members may receive MCLE credit.
