Washington Young Lawyers Division Seeks Trustee

The Washington State Bar's Young Lawyers Division (WYLD) is looking for a new/young lawyer to fill a King County District Trustee vacancy on the WYLD Board of Trustees. The term runs through September 30, 2012, and the trustee may seek reelection. To be eligible, candidates must maintain either primary residence or primary place of work in King County.

Trustees have the opportunity to:

  • Help connect new lawyers in King County with WSBA opportunities for leadership and public service

  • Support new lawyers with transition into the practice of law

  • Develop and guide WYLD programs to impact new attorneys

  • Network with bar leaders across the state to shape the profession

The position will be filled through appointment by the WYLD president with consent of the Board of Trustees. The application deadline is January 26, 2012.
