The Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps Summer Internship application for 2Ls and 1Ls is now available on www.usajobs.gov. The 2L internship is paid at a GS-09 and the 1L internship is paid at a GS-07. The announcement will be open until Friday, February 10.
Students will need to submit the following:
1. Resume
2. Online occupational questionnaire
3. One-page personal statement introducing the applicant and explaining his/her motivation and objectives in applying for a summer internship with the Air Force JAG Corps
4. List of applicant’s top five geographic preferences by base or state (listing of bases;1-800-JAG-USAF) and when the applicant would prefer to begin the internship (Monday, May 21, 2012 or Monday, June 4, 2012)
5. Sheet or sheets of paper addressing the KSAs (knowledge, skill, and ability) and how they relate to the applicant’s work experience, education and training
6. Undergraduate and law school transcripts (readable copies are acceptable)
