We know that finances and financial aid can play a big role
in your law school career and we are happy to help you with any questions.
We also want to share some important information with you
and a Save the Date for a Financial Planning Webinar on July 11, 2018 at 5:30
pacific time. See below for more information.
We’re A MAX School:
We are excited
to announce that we have partnered with AccessLex Institute, the largest
nonprofit organization in the country focusing on access, affordability and the
value of legal education, to bring you MAX by AccessLex®, an innovative
personal finance program created exclusively for law students. Available at no
cost to you or our law school, MAX drives the knowledge gain and behavior
change that is essential to improving your financial well-being.
To provide a
comprehensive personal finance education, the MAX program:
- Teaches personal finance in a way that leverages the skills law school attracts and fosters;
- Takes a multi-format approach – including interactive online lessons, webinars, in-person workshops and one-on-one counseling – that lets you define your own path;
- Delivers information in quick and easy to understand components to fit into your demanding schedule; and
- Offers scholarship incentives to motivate you to stay on task and on schedule – AccessLex will award over $200,000 through MAX Scholarship drawings during the 2018-2019 academic year!
One of the
program’s defining features is its building-block curriculum. So, during your
1L year, you’ll focus primarily on foundational elements that will prepare you
for the 2L curriculum, which will in turn instill in you a confidence and
readiness for the 3L material. MAX will be there for each step of your law
school journey, to make sure you are graduating with maximized financial
capability.
To get started, go to AccessLex.org/MAXonline. Your
name, email address, school and class year are all you need to log-in to the
program, personalize your experience and track your progress. No other personal
information is required, and all information remains confidential.
We’re glad you are here, and we take seriously our
responsibility to prepare you for a successful professional future. That’s why
we’re proudly a MAX school – because we know the best financial habits are
learned.
