Filipino Lawyers of Washington's Annual Barrio Fiesta and Pangarap Scholarship

The Filipino Lawyers of Washington (FLOW) is hosting its Fifth Annual Barrio Fiesta on October 25, 2013 at the Filipino Community Center of Seattle.

As part of the Barrio Fiesta, FLOW will award two $1,500 scholarships to law students attending school in Washington State. The Pangarap Scholarships are intended to recognize law students who have demonstrated significant commitment to community service, particularly service to the Filipino/Filipina American community. Scholarship applicants do not have to be of Filipino descent.

The deadline for submitting applications is Wed., Oct. 9, 2013. Contact Erin Fullner for a scholarship application form, which includes instructions and details about the scholarship. Please email Abigail Daquiz, Filipino Lawyers of Washington Foundation President, with any questions.

Pangarap means to "dream and strive for a goal" in Tagalog, the language of the Philippines.
