REMINDER & EXTENDED DEADLINE: OCI Session 1 Interview Scheduling
Please
make sure to check Symplicity this Wednesday morning to see if you have
been selected to interview with a Session 1 employer. Note that
this date has been extended for an additional day to allow employers more time
to make their selections. Session 1 employers have until 2 p.m. on
Tuesday, August 19, to select students to interview. (You should receive
an email Wednesday morning notifying you of any employer who has selected you
for an interview; however, you should still check Symplicity). If you
are selected, you must log-in to Symplicity and select your interview time
at 9 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20.
You will have until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday,
August 21 to schedule your interviews. However, schedules can
fill up quickly and your preferred time may not be available. Log-in
early and be prepared to be flexible.
All
Session 1 employer selections will be visible in Symplicity by 9 a.m. on
Wednesday with the exception of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.
CPD will notify the students selected to interview with Schwabe by email on
Friday, August 22.
If
you are selected to interview as an alternate, you should receive email
notification on Friday, August 22. If you are selected as an alternate,
you must log-in to Symplicity and select your interview time on Friday, August 22.
Alternates will have until 11:59 p.m. on
August 22 to schedule
interviews.

National Law Student Workers' Rights Conference
The 16th Annual National Law Students Workers' Rights Conference will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 17 and 18, 2014 at the Conference Center at the Maritime Institute, just outside of Baltimore, MD.
The conference's impressive lineup of speakers and workshop facilitators includes keynote speaker Nancy Schiffer, Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

The deadline to submit applications to OCI Session 2 employers is THIS MONDAY, AUGUST 18 AT NOON!
Employers seeking both 2Ls and 3L/4Ls will be interviewing during the second session, including the Washington Attorney General's Office (3 and 4Ls) and a number of great firms (2Ls).

Registration opens TODAY for the LARGEST PUBLIC INTEREST CONFERENCE and CAREER FAIR IN THE COUNTRY!
The Equal Justice Works Conference
and Career Fair will be held on October 24 & 25 in Washington, D.C.
More than 1,200 students and 125 public interest employers will participate in this year’s conference.
Public interest employers conduct interviews (for 2Ls and 3Ls) for internship
and full-time positions and meet with students (including 1Ls) in informal
“table talk” settings to discuss public interest legal opportunities. The
Conference and Career Fair also features workshops on various public interest
careers and job search advice, resume and cover letter review, mock interviews,
