If you are interested in a career in public interest, you are likely familiar with Equal Justice Works. EJW strives to mobilize and prepare the next generation of attorneys committed to equal justice. The EJW Conference and Career Fair will be Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25 in Washington, D.C. If you are interested in working in public interest in other regions of the country, you should consider attending the Conference and Career Fair. This year, CPD and AtJI will cover the registration fee and reimburse up to 15 students up to $250 for expenses incurred to attend the event and a SU in D.C. Alumni event on the Oct. 22 (a $200 reimbursement will be available to students attending only the Conference and Career Fair).
To apply for the reimbursement stipend, please submit a resume and one page statement of interest regarding why you want to attend the conference/career fair to Stacey Lara-Kerr in CPD by Thursday, Sept. 10. Students selected to receive the reimbursement will be notified on Wednesday, Sept. 16. If you have questions about the Conference and Career Fair, please contact Stacey Lara-Kerr.
